What’s that is, Airtel launches its new ‘BBM Plan’. This scheme can be subscribed by postpaid mobile customers who use BlackBerry smartphones.
Users have to pay a monthly fee of only Rs. 129 for gaining unlimited access to the BlackBerry Messenger service as well as send 300 national messages to loved ones staying anywhere in the country. For subscribing to the ‘BBM Plan’, current and new postpaid Airtel mobile customers owning BlackBerry smartphones have to call 121 or visit their nearest Airtel postpaid activation help-desk.
Through the introduction of an affordable scheme, the network carrier aims to introduce the advantages of real time social messaging through a platform like BlackBerry Messenger, to new segments of the society who comprise of cost-conscious individuals. BBM or Blackberry Messenger is an instant messaging service which allows BlackBerry smartphone owners to send and receive short messages and attachments instantly to each other in a chat-like interface.
