Anna University New Syllabus

Recently anna university article published on Times of India , stating that the Anna University is gearing up to roll out new Engineering Syllabus this year.

We know that Anna University revise the syllabus every 4 years . So its time to got the New Engineering Syllabus for Anna University campus and all its affiliated Institutions.

Previously Anna University changed the syllabus and named it to Regulation 2008 ( R2008 ) and introduced to the 2008 – 2012 Batch students.

As the four year period has over now, its time to get over hauled and newly formulated Engineering syllabus . As a result , all the 500 self-financing affiliated colleges will adopt the new syllabus once the officials rolled out them in the coming weeks.

Who formualte New Syllabus ?
From the official releae,
 A team of 240 faculty members of Anna University with staffs from each dept of 10-12  is working to form the new syllabus . They are co-ordinated by the director of Anna Unviersity.

How much change in the Syllabus ?
Eve though they say , ” New Engineering Syllabus “, it is expected there would be only 10% change in the syllabus .

Does the New Syllabus fit for All Colleges / all Anna Universities ?

The new syllabus will be informed to follow by all Anna Univeristy ( Trichy,Tirunelveli,Madurai,Coimbatore,Chennai ) .

All colleges will have to follow the same exam dates, semester closing dates , laboratory practical exams and academic schedules.
